Painting Lord of the Rings - Urik Hai

 Hey mates!

I had a opportunity to play a old/new game. The Lord of the Rings gamesworkshop table top game.

Got to play three games total, in our local group we have a huge Warhammer 40k group, a small Flame of war group and now a group getting together to play Lotr. I originally wasn't that interested in playing cause who needs another tabletop game right!? Thankfully one of the guys that got me into warhammer 40k is heading up Lotr, so he has every army and is letting people test out the game.

Commission: Logan Grimnar - WIP

Fayte here!

I am working on a commission job for my father, actually. He wanted a display model of his choice painted up to the best I have. Seems to be an every other year desire of his! But, he chose Logan Grimnar, and what a challenging model to paint! Wow!

Painting Space Marines - Astral Claws Chapter session 1

Hey Mates!

Got another series am adding to the blog. The Astral Claws! My first ever paint scheme now revisited.

"There are but two answers to the question of Humanity's survival in the face of a hostile cosmos; overwhelming force and the will to use it." Lufgt Huron, Chapter Master--

At a tournament just this passed weekend, I actually lost best overall player to someone that didn't paint his army. Me and this person where point for point in every area except paint, I ended up losing by paint score, myself painted army vs his commissioned army.

Space Wolves Update - Fenerisian Wolves

Hey Mates!

Started working on some wolf puppies for the Space Wolves.
I will likely do 30 fenerisian wolves and 12 thunder wolves.

The force am putting together right now will have 24 Fenerisian Wolves. 8 Thunder wolves, 20 wulfen and 20 Grey hunters in pods.

Got a few lists will be doing so this really is just the tip of it all, as is custom in warhammer 40k.

Here are some comparisons,

So I started off pretty basic, with just using hand brushes and doing alot of dry brushes. I went this route to be able to show the difference to myself going by hand vs using the airbrush.

Space Wolves Painting Update - Lone Wolf Challenge!

 Hey Mates!

Got a update on the Space Wolves!

First off, this is actually a joint scheme, both myself and Fayte teamed up over Memorial Day weekend to master craft the scheme for our Space Wolves projects.

Fayte is doing a commission for his Papa, and I am building a 3rd army in my Space Wolves. Hail the Imperium!

The 3 test models, thus far! (Left and right ones done by me, the middle by Fayte.)
