Alright guys, with this commission it was a Basics 5 color order, considering when its all said and done is 12 colors on the models. Its possible I went abit over board on colors... I usually charge between $2 to $3 per model for Basics 5 color but I tend to give a discount to War hogs or people from the store that are loyal to the community.   In my previous posts have touched on the differences between these two groups.  Am not looking to make a insane amount of cash from this just, some extra funds to pay other hobby players off for stuff I buy or to save for new armies in the future.

That being said I also don't under value my time for the amount of work being put into the models.

Haemonculus Covens these are a great model, owned by Chase of The War Hogs. I really enjoyed painting these models for alot of reasons. They have this cool undead monster feel, alot of cool poses, weapons and details. They are very well modeled miniatures from GW, not something I would normally paint which added to the enjoyment factor.

This project was made alot easier, cause the client gave me alot of flexibility in the paint scheme.

The model came with a variety of colors on them, the paint was not super thick so painting over the existing paint was not a issue.

I forgot to take pictures of each step...

Step 1
I air brushed white primer over the models

Step 2
I then Air brushed korn red over all but 1 of the models.

Step 3
Once dry I air brushed the models pants. I used three different colors  for 10 man squad separation.

Step 4
Applied Ushabi Bone and Screaming Skull to the backpacks.

Step 5

Applied Gun metal to the faces, swords and sprackets.

Step 6

Applied moot green to cords.

Step 7

I applied shades to models

Step 8

I worked on the albino Haemonculus - Utilized the same steps, but replace the korne red with whit scar.

Am glad to have this set of 33 models done, was a fun project.

Is rumor we might be receiving some more Haemonculus Coven models being featured on our boards so hope to see more viewer come back for these projects.
